On September 10, the pilot episode of “The Deuce” aired on HBO. Starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, the show takes a look at life in New York City during the 1970s and ’80s when porn and prostitution were rampant in Manhattan. Giovanni has a co-starring role in the series premiere.
